About the Gardens at Carefree Town Center:

THE GARDENS AT CAREFREE TOWN CENTER was conceived in 2002 during the Downtown Carefree beautification Project. The three-plus acre botanic garden is located in a heart of Downtown Carefree. The Gardens at CTC is maintained by the Botainic Gardens Specialist Jeanette A. Summers. We have a monthly seminar Series October thru April. These Saturday morning seminars are open to the public including the residents of the Desert Foothills. The lectures are given by horticultural experts from all over Maricopa County. They are Free of charge with free information and handouts. The lectures are held in Carefree Town Hall. The 2007-08 lecture series schedule has been completed, please consult our Gardens Seminars link or the Town of Carefree website, for the latest information. The Gardens also offers a seasonal, Concerts in the Gardens, Thursday Night Concerts series in the Amphitheater, from September thru May, please consult the Events! link on the Town of Carefree website for details on these thursday night events. If you would like to volunteer please call (480) 488-3686 or feel free to please pick up a form at Carefree Town Hall, which is located at 100 Easy Street, Carefree, Az 85377. In addition to this webpage a plant indentification signage project is on it way we hope to begin installing the signs by the end of this summer.
